Woodlands was the first Tee-Ball Club in WA and has been established for many years. It is a small family orientated club situated in the heart of Woodlands.
Tee-Ball is a modified version of baseball. The main difference being that players hit the ball off a tee and there is no pitching. Games are limited in time and a smaller diamond is used.
The club caters for boys 6-10 years and girls 6-12 years. These are split into U9 & U11 groups (&U13 girls only). The game provides a lot of fun, opportunity for rapid improvement in ball skills, hand-eye co-ordination and general confidence.
The season consists of games played in 3 rounds, with the first two rounds running from October to December and the third round in February. The club competes within the Wembley Tee-Ball Association and games may be played at City Beach, Scarborough, Innaloo, Balcatta, Carine or Woodlands. Games are played on Saturday mornings with U9 teams scheduled for 8:30am and U11 & U13 teams playing at 10:am. Parent participation is vital and teams cannot function properly without parental support.
