North Coast Ball Club promotes the four fundamentals of T-Ball; being:
Fun, Fair Play, Fundamental Skills and Family Involvement.
The club has again experienced growth, with over 312 children registering to compete in four mixed gender age divisions; U7's, U9's, U11's and U13's. Season 2008/09 seen the Club numbers grow to 27 teams from U7's to U13's.
We believe that many families were pleased to join and support the club because we do not have a club competition shield, but focus, rather on game skills, enjoyment and family involvement aspects within the sport.
Though North Coast is a family orientated TeeBall club, we encourage children to do their best, with this translating into a strong competition and spirit amongst the teams.
Inter-club Competition:
North Coast encourages and promotes all children to try out for the Tee Ball State Championships.
North Coast sends as many teams as possible to this State competition; regularly achieving success for an up a coming Club.
Parental Involvement:
There are always new children and new parents to the sport. Never feel like you shouldn't ask or that your offer may not be appreciated. We all started at the same place, and all felt the same.
There are many aspects for parents to become involved in the operations of the club; either on the committee or in one of the coaching, umpiring or support roles that are always required to manage your child's sport.
As parents, you are expected to assist in the operations of the club. The club does provide support, training and assistance in the manner of coaching and umpiring courses and clinics. These are available throughout the year, with parents obtaining official certification from both North Coast and TBAWA.
North Coast has endeavoured to provide an infrastructure that assists all parents and children, no matter what level of experience.
The committee are only too willing to answer any queries that you may have.
