Tee Ball is a modified baseball game designed for young children. It aims to develop hand, eye, and bat and ball coordination, promote team cooperation and good sportsmanship.
Players are placed in teams according to age and gender. Teams consist of between 9 and 12 players.
Training – Teams usually train once a week. Training times and venue are at the discretion of the coach but every effort is made to accommodate individual needs.
Games – Games are played for one hour on Saturday mornings. All under 9 teams play at 8.30am. All under 11 and under 13 teams play at 10.15am
First game 2011 - 22nd October
All teams participate in the Wembley Tee Ball Association competition and play approximately half of their games at City Beach Oval/ Alderbury Oval. Other games may be played on grounds at Woodlands, Stirling and possibly Balcatta and Carine.
